In January of 2023, Boulder Street empowered new lead pastors, Dan and Amy Perkins, to build upon the legacy of faithful intercessors contending for a move of God in Colorado Springs. We have a mandate to lead people to become wholehearted disciples of Jesus Christ. Together by worshipping and praying, hosting His presence, and growing as disciples, we're building a place where He can come and dwell with his people.

OUR STORY
In the early 1900s, the founder of Colorado Springs, General William Palmer, donated land to build churches in the city. Our building was one of them and was constructed to be an outpost to reach the east side of downtown Colorado Springs. The building housed the original congregation for many years, it was home to a worship and prayer movement of young adults in the early 1900s, it provided space for a group of former slaves and their families to worship God, to name a few. This historical building has housed various congregations who, through world wars and in times of peace, from economic depression into the digital age, during the civil rights movement, the modern worship movement, through worldwide pandemics, and up to today, have all worshiped and prayed in these walls.
A new era is starting at Boulder Street Church, but we will continue plowing in the spirit to see a move of God in Colorado Springs. Prayer, worship, discipleship and the nations are in this city’s spiritual history. This has been a place where people have come and been transformed by encountering the presence of God and then have gone out carrying His presence with them. We will actively be a part of this legacy in our city by being a presence centered, prayer based, wholehearted people.
What began over a century ago in this building, continues with the vision of a thriving community that gathers to encounter God’s presence as a multi-generational, diverse church and that lives for Jesus to receive his reward from our lives, city, and generation.
Leadership and Staff
As you consider investing your heart, time, relationships, and resources into Boulder Street, it is important for you to feel confident in church leadership. We want you to know that the design of our church structure supports the values of integrity, accountability, and spiritual authority.
Our church structure consists of three groups:
Guided by Pastors
Dan and Amy Perkins are both the Lead Pastors of Boulder Street Church. They lead the day-to-day ministry and operations of BSC. They serve this community and are responsible for the development of the spiritual life of BSC. They each have their bachelors in Theology from the King's University and have been licensed and ordained.
Covered by Elders
The Elders of Boulder Street Church cover our church. These Elders are selected from the BSC community by the Lead Pastors. As a team, they implement the vision and oversee the spiritual life of the community. They also provide oversight for the church finances and buildings. The Lead Pastors lead the elder team and together they seek the Lord regarding the church’s major decisions.
Strengthened by Relationships
We are affiliated with the Radiant Network which is a family of churches and leaders who share similar spiritual DNA and have aligned themselves together in a common vision for growing the Kingdom. Boulder Street Church holds to the beliefs in the basic core tenets of the historical Christian faith (evidenced by our adherence to the Nicene Creed). We honor the model of 5-Fold Ministry, which matures, heals and equips believers of all ages to step into their destinies and ministries in the church, their homes, and their spheres of influence (Ephesians 4:11-13). Our overseers consist of Alemu and Ganette Beeftu as an apostolic 5-fold ministry role, Jack and Terry Brown in the prophetic, and Hal Perkins as a teacher.
